Key Responsibilities:
The Financial Consultant plays a crucial role in managing investment and insurance relationships within a designated branch network. This position collaborates with various bank partners to deliver tailored planning services and appropriate financial products to clients, prospects, and non-bank entities.
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of relevant laws and regulations, ensuring compliance with internal policies and training requirements.
- Provide clients with ethical and suitable financial solutions to meet their diverse needs.
- Manage and service the existing client portfolio while actively seeking new investment opportunities.
- Exhibit professionalism and leadership in all business practices.
- Keep accurate and timely records for compliance and operational purposes.
- Establish and pursue sales objectives in collaboration with management.
- Engage with community influencers to foster referral opportunities.
- Collaborate with branch staff to enhance referral generation.
- Educate branch personnel on compliance standards related to investment product sales.
- Support the goals of Community Investment Services, Inc. as a vital team member.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance or a related discipline.
- Possession of Securities Licenses 7, 66, and PA Life and Health License.
- Strong proficiency in reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email applications.
- Familiarity with the policies and regulations governing investment product sales.
- A minimum of five years of experience in the financial services industry or a related field.
Compensation: Salary commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package including paid holidays, vacation, medical, vision, and dental insurance, a 401K plan with a generous match, pension options, tuition reimbursement, and banking discounts.
