We are seeking an experienced and visionary leader to serve as the Dean of Academic Affairs (Nursing) at our Tinley Park campus.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to shape the future of nursing education, lead a collaborative academic team, and drive student success. As the Dean of Academic Affairs (Nursing), you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery and continuity of the BSN program, ensuring curricula are current, high-quality, and aligned with the university's objectives.

  • Lead & Innovate: Develop and implement strategies to improve academic outcomes and promote innovation in teaching and learning.
  • Drive Student Success: Foster a positive and supportive learning environment, ensuring students persist and graduate from the program.
  • Build & Inspire Teams: Lead a high-performing team of faculty and staff, promoting collaboration, communication, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure Excellence in Teaching: Support faculty in delivering an outstanding student experience, including regular evaluation and feedback on best practices in teaching and learning.
  • Monitor & Evaluate: Assess and monitor program outcomes, ensuring academic goals are met and continuous improvement is a priority.
What You Bring

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • A Master's Degree in Nursing (Doctorate preferred)
  • 5+ years full-time experience in nursing education, including 3+ years in a leadership role
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to mentor and inspire a diverse team while fostering collaboration across multiple departments
  • Expertise in curriculum design, faculty management, and program delivery with a focus on quality outcomes
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements in nursing education
Salary Range

The salary range for this position is estimated to be between $100,171.61 and $181,034.70 per year, depending on your qualifications and experience.
