Job Purpose

The Procurement Technology Specialist plays a crucial role in providing tactical and transactional support for a suite of procurement technology solutions that underpin our business operations. As part of our Source to Settle Center of Excellence (COE), this position collaborates closely with internal stakeholders to identify their needs, assess current workflows, and implement best-in-class tools and technologies, thereby driving continuous improvement in our digital procurement processes and facilitating digital transformation across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with internal business partners to ensure alignment of all ERP procurement systems (e.g., SAP ECC, SAP Ariba, Enterprise Asset Management) with current business requirements.
  • Facilitate coordination among cross-functional teams to enhance process documentation, templates, and systems, optimizing existing business processes.
  • Manage vendor information, ensure compliance in procure-to-pay transactions, and administer solutions-based ERP systems.
  • Act as a liaison between end-users and vendors for specified categories of expenditure, utilizing ERP procurement systems.
  • Maintain and report on purchasing and invoicing activities to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Update and manage supplier catalogs and related internal master data.
  • Support various procurement technology implementation efforts through User Acceptance Testing (UAT), deployment, and optimization phases.
  • Prepare and communicate key reporting information to internal stakeholders regularly, coordinating root cause analysis to address issues such as failed transactions and recurring errors.
  • Drive long-term continuous improvement and innovation through close collaboration with internal customers and support functions.
  • Develop training materials, provide user training, and conduct routine system testing and analysis.
  • Lead ad-hoc projects to enhance the procure-to-pay environment as needed.
  • Adhere to all safety rules and regulations while performing duties.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience supporting procure-to-pay systems and processes via SAP Ariba is required.
  • Significant experience with other SAP applications is preferred; knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA is a plus.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication and change management throughout the organization.
  • Proactive approach to identifying opportunities for improvement and challenging the status quo.
  • Experience in a hybrid organizational structure is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with the end-to-end procurement process from sourcing goods/services to payment reconciliation.
  • Proficiency in standard MS Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams).
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Finance, or Operations Management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience demonstrating the ability to perform key responsibilities.
  • Certifications in Lean Six Sigma (LSS), Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM), or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) are optional but desired.
Work Environment
  • This position will operate on a hybrid schedule, combining remote work and office presence.
  • Candidates must be within a commutable distance or willing to relocate to the greater area.
