Position Overview:

The Senior Oracle EPM Consultant will play a crucial role in the continuous support and enhancement of our Oracle Cloud Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) applications, including EPBCS, FCCS, ARCS, EDMCS, and Narrative Reporting. This position will collaborate closely with finance teams to ensure precise reporting and will work in partnership with IT to develop effective system solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide ongoing support for the Oracle Cloud EPM suite, including Planning (EPBCS), Financial Consolidation and Close (FCCS), Account Reconciliation (ARCS), Enterprise Data Management (EDMCS), and Narrative Reporting (EPRCS).
  • Utilize Oracle AI and BI tools to create and distribute reports, dashboards, and analytical tools that support various business functions in decision-making and performance measurement.
  • Analyze business processes and leverage application capabilities to address challenges and drive continuous improvement.
  • Understand the interdependencies among different components of Oracle EPM Cloud.
  • Lead monthly upgrade testing for Oracle EPM, reviewing and adopting new cloud features.
  • Work with finance teams to streamline the Planning, Forecasting, Consolidation, and Reporting processes.
  • Collaborate with the Financial Transformation Team to identify process and system enhancement opportunities.
  • Engage with IT Managed Services for troubleshooting and enhancement solutions.
  • Offer recommendations based on best practices and application functionalities.
  • Stay updated on the Oracle EPM roadmap to identify opportunities for process enhancement within the financial ecosystem.
  • Support and document configurations, customizations, reports, interfaces, testing, and user training.
  • Assist in defining and maintaining a data governance process to ensure data integrity across financial systems.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in implementing and supporting Oracle Cloud EPBCS, FCCS, ARCS, EDMCS, and Narrative Reporting.
  • At least 2 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) or Controllership.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting is preferred.
  • Proficient understanding of Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reporting, including currency translations and consolidation accounting.
  • Experience in building metadata, designing web forms, conducting data reconciliation, and automating business rules.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with internal clients.
  • Experience in conducting various types of testing and preparing relevant documentation.
  • Ability to support training for internal finance staff on advanced EPM concepts.
  • Excellent Excel skills and strong communication abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with EPM Automate and scripting for data administration tasks.
  • Experience with EPM security and user provisioning.
  • Knowledge of integrating EPM with Oracle Cloud ERP.
  • Technical skills in scripting for custom consolidations and business rules.
  • Experience in building financial forecast models and leading project teams.
  • Oracle EPM certifications are a plus.
