Nursing Assistant

At South Central Health System, we are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nursing Assistant to join our team. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing quality care to our patients, working under the supervision of our registered nurses and licensed practical nurses.
Key Responsibilities
Provide patient care by collecting, monitoring, and reporting information and responding to basic needs
Promote patient engagement by considering specific needs, values, and preferences
Promote continuity of care by reporting activities, incidents, and changing patient needs to next caregiver
Demonstrate infection prevention behaviors, consistent hand washing, and use of appropriate PPEs
Recognize safety risks and communicate to RN/LPN regarding falls, skin breakdown, and injury
Requirements
Currently enrolled in the ADN/BSN RN program of an accredited School of Nursing Program and continuing education toward nursing licensure
Completed 1st semester and in 2nd or 3rd semester of the RN program
Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing
Working Conditions
