Position Summary: This role is pivotal in overseeing and enhancing all sales initiatives within the designated district. The Sales Operations Leader will guide a team of sales professionals, ensuring alignment with the company's vision and objectives. This position involves strategizing to broaden the customer base and developing training programs for both clients and sales associates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the inside sales team.
- Design and implement Short Term Incentive Programs to enhance team performance.
- Collaborate with HR to create performance improvement strategies, including potential staff changes.
- Establish an effective inside sales schedule to optimize customer service.
- Ensure a welcoming reception area for clients.
- Manage the Non-Stocked Item (NSI) Process, overseeing approval and organization of requests.
- Conduct weekly meetings with regional sales managers to review NSI requests.
- Communicate decisions regarding NSI requests to sales representatives.
- Track the purchasing process and inform sales reps of product arrivals.
- Ensure timely shipping of all NSI items.
Candidate Profile:
- 5-7 years of experience in food service sales management.
- Preferred local residency within the defined geographic area.
- Extensive food service experience is essential.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong background in relationship management.
- In-depth understanding of food service customer dynamics and market trends.
- Willingness to travel and collaborate with food service professionals.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with a proven track record in driving sales teams.
