Flight Paramedic

At Northern Arizona Health, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Flight Paramedic to join our team. As a Flight Paramedic, you will be responsible for providing emergency medical care to patients in a variety of settings, including fixed-wing and rotor-wing aircraft.

• Assess the needs and conditions of assigned patients by gathering relevant patient health information.
• Provide critical care to patients of every age group and specialty, including adult and pediatric critical care, high-risk obstetrics, and more.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions.
• Document care provided in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Inspect and maintain all equipment and supplies to ensure proper working condition.
• Report any safety-related incidents and participate in safety training programs.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Arizona certification as a Certified Emergency Paramedic (EMCT-P) required.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
• National Registry Paramedic certification required.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Provider certification required within 6 months of hire.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Paramedic required.
