Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paramedic Flight to join our team at Northern Arizona Health. As a Paramedic Flight, you will provide emergency medical care to patients in critical need, utilizing your expertise in advanced life support and critical care.

Responsibilities
  • Assess and manage patients with a wide range of medical conditions, including cardiac arrest, trauma, and respiratory distress.
  • Administer medications and perform procedures as needed to stabilize patients.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in the field.
Requirements
  • Current certification as a Certified Emergency Paramedic (EMCT-P) in Arizona.
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association.
  • National Registry Paramedic certification.
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Provider certification within 6 months of hire.
  • STABLE course completion within 1 year of hire.
  • TPATC certification within 1 year of hire.
  • Advanced FP-C certification within 2 years of hire.
  • Valid Driver's License and a 39-month Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) from the appropriate Department of Transportation.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Paramedic.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous flight experience.
