About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Patient Care Coordinator to join our team at Piedmont Augusta Hospital.

Job Summary

The Senior Patient Care Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the delivery of quality nursing care for patients from birth through the lifecycle, as well as operational issues during their shift.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical care as needed when census demands.
  • Communicate patient care, departmental issues, and staff concerns to the appropriate leader(s).
  • Serve as a resource for guidance and assistance to the staff.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Graduate degree in Nursing.
  • At least one year of nursing experience in a hospital setting.
  • A current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License.
  • BLS certification.
Preferred Qualifications

We prefer candidates with:

  • Two or more years of nursing experience in a hospital setting.
  • A Bachelor's degree.
  • Advanced certification in their field of specialty, if applicable.
Estimated Salary

$60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
