Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Security Engineer to join our team at Raytheon. As a key member of our Software Security Sensors and Effectors Department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and integrating real-time software security solutions for deployed missile systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop software and firmware for real-time missile systems
  • Apply system security principles to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Develop and integrate software applications using C and C++ languages on various computing platforms
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and testing of software solutions
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Math, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on real-time systems and security
  • Experience working with C and C++ languages, as well as Agile development methodologies
  • Active U.S. government-issued security clearance required
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience designing, implementing, and testing real-time security-oriented solutions on Department of Defense programs
  • Knowledge of modern computer architectures and hardware technologies, including ARM and x86 architectures
  • Experience with Xilinx products and development environments
  • Experience creating, modifying, or implementing Board Support Packages (BSPs)
