We are seeking a skilled and compassionate RN to join our team on 9 North ACE unit at Royal Oak Hospital. As a Medical-Surgical Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care to a diverse population of medical patients 65 years old and older.
Responsibilities- Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Partner with patients and families to develop individualized care plans and provide education and support.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and achieve optimal patient outcomes.

- Associates or Diploma in Nursing Required.
- Bachelors in Nursing Required within 5 years for GN or RN with less than 1 year of experience.
- Graduates from a non-accredited school of nursing must have at least one year of acute care experience or at least two years of experience in a licensed health care role and must have successfully passed the NCLEX licensure examination.
- MI Registered Nurse (RN) Required within 60 days of hire.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required upon hire from one of the following organizations - American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or Canadian Heart and Stroke.
This role is based at Royal Oak Hospital, a major academic and referral center with Level I adult and Level II pediatric trauma designations. The hospital is recognized by U.S. News & World Report as the #2 hospital in Michigan and one of the top hospitals in the country.
