Program Financial Manager Job Description

NewGen Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Program Financial Manager to join our team in Maryland. As a key member of our financial team, you will be responsible for managing all programmatic budget activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and present detailed budget briefings to defend program funding requirements.
  • Prepare and present total program budget exhibits.
  • Build, maintain, and update spend plans and execution spreadsheets for funding actions.
  • Direct and implement formal aspects of program budgeting in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and government regulations.
  • Prepare funding documents for program execution.
  • Develop and maintain program-related financial data.
  • Maintain and update records and ensure files are secure and easily accessible.
  • Support financial business process improvement on the program, including conducting root cause analysis, gap analysis, and process mapping.
  • Solve moderately complex financial challenges with innovative solutions and implement automation.
  • Evaluate programmatic data, resolve inconsistencies, and propose solutions.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or 7 or more years of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated financial acumen on government contracts and projects.
  • Experience within the cleared government contracting environment.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Direct knowledge of the customer's operational environment, including customer working capital fund, ServiceNow, desktop technologies, and other corporate applications.
  • Budgeting and financial management expertise.
  • Program Control Administration experience.
  • Accounting, Acquisitions, and Contracts knowledge.
  • Financial tool experience, including Cost Point, Financial Tracking System (FTS), BASIS, and Remedy.
  • BS in a financial discipline.
Security Clearance Requirements:

Active/current TS/SCI with Polygraph is required.
