About the Role

At Abnormal Security, we're looking for an experienced Enterprise Account Executive to join our team. This role is perfect for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for selling cutting-edge security solutions.

The ideal candidate will be based in the Los Angeles area and have a proven track record of success in enterprise sales. They will be responsible for prospecting, closing new logos, and growing major accounts against incumbents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sell Abnormal Security's solutions to large enterprises in the defined territory with the goal of overachieving the new annual recurring revenue quota
  • Work with enterprise accounts (organizations with >3k mailboxes) from initial conversations through signing a contract and upselling once they become customers
  • Prospect and generate new business opportunities with enterprise accounts to supply enough pipeline for them to hit sales targets
  • Collaborate with Customer Success to ensure timely renewal and expansion sale opportunities
  • Maintain accurate data across all sales systems, including Salesforce, Highspot, and Close Plan
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated 3+ years of direct enterprise experience prospecting, closing new logos, and growing major accounts against incumbents
  • Excellent negotiation skills with large organizations and complex sales experience
  • A proven performer with consistent over-quota performance or top 5% of sales org
  • Technical competence in key areas: security, email, cloud, AI, etc.
  • Cyber-security software sales experience, particularly selling subscription software/SaaS to CISOs and security personnel
  • Start-up experience: Success at a company that was early-stage, underdog, or new entrant with large competitors or similar
  • BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience
