AdventHealth is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Emergency Department Registered Nurse to join our team. As a critical care nurse, you will provide direct patient care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization.
Key Responsibilities- Implement and monitor patient care plans, ensuring the highest level of care and patient satisfaction.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care, including physician and nursing orders.
- Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs, ensuring a smooth transition to post-acute care.
- Provide education and support to patients and families, promoting health literacy and self-management.
- Diploma from an accredited school of nursing, with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred or currently enrolled in a BSN program.
- At least one year of nursing experience in the emergency department, with a strong preference for BLS Provider certification from the American Heart Association.
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Illinois Board of Nursing.
