Job Summary:

About the Job:

This is a full-time position that requires operating heavy equipment such as rollers, backhoes, graders, and pavers. You will be responsible for performing specified activities such as moving material, leveling, grading, and paving.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operating heavy equipment such as rollers, backhoes, graders, and pavers.
  • Maintaining equipment daily by checking oil, fluid levels, damage, and wear areas.
  • Determining speed and direction on machines based on knowledge of compressibility of material under changing temperatures.
  • Completing equipment checklist and turning it in on a daily basis.
  • Loading and unloading equipment from trailers.
  • Cleaning equipment at the end of each job and each day.
  • Ensuring equipment is operated safely at all times.

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license and good driving record.
  • Class A CDL preferred.
  • Able to work as part of a team.
  • Able to work weekends and occasional nights.
  • Able to travel to various worksites.
  • Able to work long hours and in all weather conditions.
