Job Summary

PTW is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Video Game Quality Assurance Project Manager to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the quality assurance process for our video game projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the quality assurance team in planning and executing comprehensive testing strategies for video game projects.
  • Develop and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and testing schedules to ensure thorough coverage of all game features and functionalities.
  • Coordinate with development teams to identify and prioritize issues, track defects, and ensure timely resolution.
  • Manage and mentor a team of quality assurance testers, providing guidance, support, and feedback to ensure high-quality results.
  • Collaborate with producers, developers, and other stakeholders to communicate testing progress, identify risks, and make data-driven decisions to improve product quality.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and trends in video game quality assurance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field or equivalent work experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in video game quality assurance, with a strong understanding of QA principles, methodologies, and processes.
  • 2+ years of experience in project management, preferably in the video game industry.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Proven ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using quality assurance tools and software, such as bug tracking systems, test management tools, and version control systems.
  • Passion for video games and a deep understanding of gaming mechanics, genres, and platforms.
