Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Donation Attendant to join our team at McClintock Store (Southern & McClintock). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for receiving and processing donations in a timely and courteous manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Management
    • Process donations from customers, ensuring accurate and efficient handling of all transactions.
    • Label and organize outgoing merchandise, maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail.
    • Provide receipts to donors, ensuring a positive customer experience.
    • Prepare sales tickets and signage for large items, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
  • Customer Service
    • Assist customers with loading and unloading merchandise, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Operational Excellence
    • Maintain a clean and organized production room, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
    • Operate pallet jack, sit-down and/or standing forklift, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
    • Conduct daily safety inspections on company-owned equipment, identifying and reporting any hazards or issues.
    • Provide floor care duties as needed, maintaining a clean and welcoming store environment.
  • Team Collaboration
    • Model Goodwill's core values, promoting a culture of growth and development.
    • Perform other related duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
Requirements
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on providing exceptional experiences.
  • Ability to pass a forklift certification class, ensuring safe and efficient operation of equipment.
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English proficiently, with a focus on clear and effective communication.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older, with a valid ID.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable for position.
