Key Responsibilities:
  • Accept and process donations from customers in a courteous and efficient manner.
  • Label and organize donations in the production room or sales floor.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all donors.
  • Identify and handle hazardous materials, providing safe disposal options to customers.
  • Process sales tickets and sold signs for large items, including furniture and electronics.
  • Assist customers with loading and unloading donations, ensuring safe and efficient handling.
  • Maintain a clean and organized production room and sales floor, adhering to Goodwill standards.
  • Operate pallet jacks and walkie stackers safely and efficiently.
  • Conduct daily safety inspections on company equipment, ensuring compliance with safety rules and regulations.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned, including cross-training in other store positions.
Requirements:
  • Excellent customer service skills and a strong ability to work with diverse populations.
  • Ability to pass a forklift certification class and operate equipment safely.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; prior experience in customer service or retail preferred.
