We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Associate to join our team at Resolute Road Hospitality. As a Housekeeping Associate, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our hotel rooms and public areas.
Key Responsibilities- Stock and maintain housekeeping carts with cleaning supplies, linens, and guest amenities.
- Clean guest rooms, including making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming, and removing trash.
- Change and replenish bed linens, towels, and other guest amenities as needed.
- Clean other designated areas, including restrooms, public areas, offices, and meeting rooms.
- Ensure all hotel property is in working order and report any issues to management.
- Respond to guest requests and report any issues or complaints in a professional manner.
- Turn in and log any guest property left in rooms or public areas.
- Attend pre-shift meetings to learn assignments and tasks.
- Perform deep cleaning tasks, such as flipping mattresses and moving furniture, as needed.
- Perform guest turn-down service as needed.
- Follow company policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
- Previous hospitality housekeeping experience preferred.
- Ability to understand and speak some English.
- Ability to prioritize work assignments.
- Demonstrate genuine care for customers and employees.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
The physical demands of this job include standing and walking for up to 8 hours, with occasional sitting or walking for extended periods. Finger dexterity is required, and grasping, writing, and repetitive motions may be necessary. The employee may be subjected to moderate to loud noise levels, outdoor weather conditions, and work in precarious places. The employee must be able to lift up to 40 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
