Behavioral Health Specialist for Primary Care

Harbor Health Services, Inc. is seeking a skilled Behavioral Health Provider to join our team at the Harbor Community Health Center in Hyannis. As a key member of our primary care team, you will provide direct psychotherapy services to patients and assist the Behavioral Health Director in clinical functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct intakes, evaluations, and provide therapy to patients assigned by the Director.
- Participate in extended primary care teams and treatment teams focusing on behavioral issues with patients.
- Obtain insurance authorization for patients and track visits.
- Complete comprehensive assessments, quarterly treatment updates, and discharge summaries.
- Coordinate behavioral health treatment with psychiatry and primary care providers.
- Perform collateral case work for patients as necessary.
- Facilitate trainings, case conferences, and conduct Utilization Review.
- Provide clinical supervision for behavioral health staff and/or interns.
Requirements:
- Current MA LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT licensure.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- 2 years of experience providing therapy in individual, family, and/or group modalities.
- Current Massachusetts LADC1 licensure preferred.
- One year of clinical experience in substance abuse treatment preferred.
