Job Summary

BrightStar Care of Denton is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Private Duty Nurse, you will provide high-quality nursing care to our patients in the comfort of their own homes. We are committed to delivering exceptional patient care and creating a supportive work environment for our employees.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans to promote optimal health and well-being
  • Provide skilled nursing care, including wound care, medication management, and vital sign monitoring
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions
  • Document patient progress and communicate effectively with healthcare providers
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and industry developments
Requirements
  • Current unrestricted RN license in the state of Texas
  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Nursing
  • Minimum one (1) year of documented experience in a home health agency, primary care clinic, or health facility
  • Proven experience in wound care, IV therapy, and central line care
  • Certified CPR and negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
