We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dietary Aide to join our team at New Communities Inc. as a key member of the dining team at Biddeford Estates. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and satisfaction of our residents by providing exceptional food service and support.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the dining team in preparing and serving meals to residents, ensuring that each individual receives the appropriate meal and dietary accommodations.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food service areas, adhering to high standards of sanitation and safety.
- Develop a strong understanding of residents' individual service plans, including their dietary needs and preferences, to provide personalized support and care.
- Communicate effectively with residents and colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Must be 18 years or older
- High school diploma/GED preferred, but not required
- One year of experience in a food service setting and experience working with the elderly/disabled population is preferred
- Must be able to communicate effectively with residents and coworkers whose primary language is English
