Position Title: Controls Technician

  • Conduct routine preventative maintenance as per established schedules.
  • Analyze and implement changes to maintenance frequency based on equipment performance.
  • Facilitate training sessions for team members on maintenance protocols.
  • Assist in planning and executing repairs or replacements of essential facility equipment.
  • Inspect electrical components for functionality and safety.
  • Perform a variety of repairs including plumbing, lighting, and building systems.

Essential Skills:

  • Expertise in preventative maintenance techniques.
  • Proficient in diagnosing equipment failures.
  • Experience in facility equipment repair.
  • Knowledge of electrical systems up to 480V.
  • Skilled in fabrication and operation of various tools and heavy machinery.

Interpersonal Skills:

  • Ability to train and mentor team members.
  • Strong emergency response capabilities.
  • Effective collaboration within a team environment.

Position Type: This is a permanent role with a rotating schedule of two days on, two days off, followed by three days on.

Work Environment: The position is based in a production facility that combines office tasks with hands-on maintenance work, requiring the operation of heavy equipment and various tools.
