We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist II to join our team at John Muir Health. As a key member of our medical imaging department, you will be responsible for performing ultrasound procedures and providing high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Perform ultrasound procedures upon the order of a licensed independent practitioner for diagnostic interpretation by a radiologist.
  • Ensure accurate and efficient completion of exams, maintaining a high level of patient satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques.
Requirements
  • Completion of Sonography Program - Preferred
  • Currently credentialed with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers, with a current RDMS license with subspecialty registries in Abdomen and OB/GYN, and current RVT license.
  • RVT Registered Vascular Technologist - ARDMS American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography – Must be obtained within 90 days of hire, with the exception of new graduates, who must obtain their RVT license within 14 months.
  • BLS Basic Life Support - American Heart Association - Required
  • OB/Gyn Obstetrics and Gynecology - ARDMS American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography - Must be obtained 90 days of hire.
  • BR Breast Certification - ARDMS American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography – Preferred
Work Schedule

Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

Work Shift

07:00 - 07:30 No Waive (United States of America)

Pay Range

$87.40 Hourly

Offer amounts are based on demonstrated/relevant experience and/or licensure.

Note: Positions at JMH which are exempt (not eligible for overtime) under the level of Manager are listed as hourly for compensation purposes on this posting. The work shift will contain the word 'exempt' on it.
