Cognitive Behavioral Neurologist

The Department of Neurology at the Commonwealth of Virginia is seeking a full-time member to join our expanding clinical and research enterprises in the Division of Movement Disorders. This position will provide patient care, engage in medical student and neurology resident and fellow education, and participate in clinical research.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Clinical
Provide comprehensive patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings with a focus on movement disorders.
2. Teaching
Teach medical students and housestaff, organizing and developing formal conferences on movement disorders, and participating in weekly Grand Rounds.
3. Research
Contribute to clinical and translational research projects, participating in and leading clinical trials as appropriate.
4. Service
Participate in departmental, School of Medicine, and University committees, as well as professional activities such as reviewing and organizing conferences.
Requirements:
- Board Certification/Board Eligibility in Neurology
- Completion of an accredited Movement Disorders Fellowship
- Demonstrated experience fostering a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment or commitment to do so as a faculty member at VCU
Preferred Qualifications:
- Independently funded research program
