We are seeking a highly skilled Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nurse Clinician to join our team at Duke Health. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide expert care to patients with complex wound, ostomy, and continence needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide preoperative and postoperative care to patients with stomas, draining wounds, or incontinence
  • Utilize clinical expertise to educate patients and families on wound, ostomy, and continence management
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Lead educational initiatives to ensure knowledge and competency in basic wound, ostomy, and continence management among nursing staff
Requirements:
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina
  • Nationally recognized certification in Wound, Ostomy, and Continence (WOCN) or Wound Ostomy Nurse (WON)
  • 2 years of nursing experience
