Job Description

Mass General Brigham is seeking a highly skilled Wound Ostomy Nurse to join our team.

This is a unique opportunity to work with a talented group of healthcare professionals who are dedicated to providing exceptional patient care.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in wound care and ostomy management, with a focus on providing comprehensive care to patients with complex wounds and ostomies.

The ideal candidate will be a certified Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nurse (CWOCN) or Certified Wound, Ostomy (CWON) with a strong passion for delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Providing comprehensive wound and ostomy care to patients with complex wounds and ostomies
  • Developing and implementing individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Providing education and support to patients and their families to promote optimal wound and ostomy management

Requirements:

  • Current registration in Massachusetts
  • Graduate of an approved school of nursing
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred
  • Master's degree in nursing preferred
  • Certified Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nurse (CWOCN) or Certified Wound, Ostomy (CWON) certification required
  • Recent wound ostomy nursing experience required
  • In-patient certified wound ostomy experience required
  • Continence nursing experience preferred
  • Ambulatory certified wound ostomy experience preferred
