Maintenance Specialist
About the Role:This role is responsible for ensuring the safety and cleanliness of school buildings. As a Maintenance Specialist, you will be part of a team that performs general cleaning, repairs, and maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities:- Cleaning rooms, floors, hallways, cafeterias, restrooms, offices, stairways, and other areas of the building.
- Performing grounds-keeping duties, clearing debris, and maintaining grounds.
- Receiving deliveries and assisting in unloading trucks and storing supplies.
- High School Diploma or completion of sufficient education to successfully perform the duties of the position.
- Previous experience in building and cleaning maintenance desirable.
- Connecticut Motor Vehicle Operator's license or ability to provide own transportation.
The estimated hourly rate for this position is $18.05. Shifts are generally evening shifts.
