Job Summary

Hills Bank is seeking a highly skilled Loan Funding Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Loan Operations Department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely funding and disbursing of commercial, consumer, and retail real estate loans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Funding and Disbursing (50%): Ensure the proper funding and disbursing of all loans, facilitate the timely upload of loan information onto the core system, and participate in the rotating schedule to ensure adequate staffing levels.
  • Secondary Market (40%): Assist in shipping loan files to secondary market investors, facilitate the final sale of secondary market loans, and track sales and correspond with customers to process monthly loan payments.
  • General Department Duties (10%): Assist with filing and other duties as needed, assist in the development of manuals and supporting documentation, and support other bank activities as required.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with one to two years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Technical training in loan documentation and compliance.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
