About the Role:

This position supports the patient care team by providing receptionist services, answering telephones, greeting visitors, and responding to patient call lights. The successful candidate will ensure timely communication with nursing staff, patients, and families regarding STAT and NOW orders, as well as coordinate visits from local clergy and interpreter services through Patient and Guest Service's.

The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, be able to work independently, and maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information. Excellent organizational and time management skills are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide excellent customer service to patients, visitors, and staff
* Manage phone calls, messages, and correspondence
* Coordinate logistics, such as patient transfers and escort services
* Ensure accurate maintenance of pneumatic tube systems and other equipment

Requirements:

* High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
* Post-high school education or equivalent experience, including computer courses and medical terminology, preferred
