Job Summary

The City of Little Rock is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Custodial Worker I to join our team. As a Custodial Worker I, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our community centers and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and maintain community centers and facilities, including restrooms, meeting rooms, and public spaces
  • Sweep and mop floors, dust and clean windows, and perform other light custodial and housekeeping tasks
  • Empty and replace plastic liners in wastebaskets and recycle bins
  • Maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
  • Notify supervisor of supplies needed
Requirements
  • One year of experience in general or manual labor
  • Ability to work regular and irregular work shifts, weekends, and holidays
  • Valid Arkansas Driver's License
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in basic yard maintenance, such as mowing, weed eating, and tree trimming
  • Experience in construction or manual labor
