About the Role

This Telecommunications Installer role will be responsible for working on circuit modifications, power transition operations, addition, and removal of circuits on working power distribution sources, power system equipment test and turn-up, overseeing volatile work activities and performing Site Supervisors responsibilities on a job site.

Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot based on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, complete tasks, and solve key customer issues in a timely manner.
  • Work with various teams to ensure seamless execution of projects.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma/GED and a minimum of six (6) years of experience in DC power equipment installation.
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Outlook / Excel / Word
  • A valid driver's license.
  • Ability and willingness to travel approximately 100% and willingness to work different shifts (swing shifts).
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift at least 40 lbs.
  • Ability to operate motorized lift equipment to maneuver, install or remove 80-750 lb. batteries
  • Frequently pushing or pulling of cables up to 60 lbs.
  • Frequently climbing ladders up to 8 ft.
  • Frequently working/standing on ladders for long periods of time
  • Continuous standing
  • Frequently reaching above, below or at shoulder level
  • Frequently bending, twisting, or stooping
  • Frequently crouching or squatting
  • Be exposed to varying environments with moderate noise levels, nominal variations in heat and cold
