Job Summary

The Patient Access Specialist 4 is a key member of the St. Luke's Health System team, responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring seamless patient access to healthcare services. This role requires a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and effective communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Registration and Scheduling: Coordinate patient registration, scheduling, and referral coordination to ensure timely and accurate processing.
  • Financial Options and Insurance Coverage: Discuss financial options and explain insurance coverage, including authorizations, verifications, and estimates, to patients and providers.
  • Technology and Resource Utilization: Utilize various technologies, tools, and resources to support departmental workflows and improve patient access.
  • Team Collaboration and Development: Serve as a role model, mentor, trainer, and resource to coworkers, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
  • Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned to support the team and achieve departmental goals.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 3 years of relevant experience in a healthcare setting.
