Medical Laboratory Technician Instructor

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Part-Time Faculty, Medical Laboratory Technician. As a member of our faculty, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality education to our students.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and deliver engaging classroom instruction in lecture, clinical, and/or laboratory formats, utilizing a variety of approved course materials and teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students.

  • Assess student learning using appropriate methods.
  • Conduct an engaging classroom lecture and/or lab based on the course outline.
  • Motivate students by demonstrating sensitivity for concerns and actively involving students in classroom discussions and/or activities.
  • Make arrangements for equipment and supplies, or other activities as needed.
  • Complete all course assessments as required.
  • Utilize technology to enhance the teaching/learning experience in the classroom.

Requirements:

To be considered for this position, you must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology/Clinical Laboratory Science and current ASCP-BOC U.S. Certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist/Medical Technologist. Three years of clinical experience are also required.

Preferred Qualification:

A Master's Degree in Medical Technology, Health Sciences, Education, or a related field is preferred.
