Overview

The Senior Technical Product Manager for Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) and Quality Assurance (QA) Compliance Systems is tasked with overseeing data integrity, troubleshooting issues, configuring systems, and providing technical assistance for various operational units.

This role involves collaboration with different business sectors to define, document, and advise on both functional and technical specifications that support day-to-day operations and facilitate future expansion.

As subsidiaries of a major food service corporation, the operational networks are dedicated to meeting the specific demands and increasing volume of restaurant operations.

Operational Framework

The operational networks consist of three key components:
  • Distribution Centers: Advanced warehouses that store supplies for restaurant operations.
  • Production Facilities: Offsite locations that prepare select ingredients and menu items.
  • Transportation Services: An expanding fleet of delivery vehicles that supply restaurant locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage system enhancements and improvements based on business requirements and technical capabilities.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and validate integration points across the operational network.
  • Identify system gaps and manage the product backlog for future enhancements.
  • Oversee the development of configurations and supporting documentation to facilitate change management and user training.
  • Maintain strong business relationships with software vendors to ensure excellent service and responsiveness.
  • Provide advanced operational support for EHS and QA systems, employing troubleshooting techniques to minimize business disruptions.
  • Develop business case documentation, including financial justifications and ROI for initiatives, in partnership with IT leadership.
  • Document current and future business process requirements, including data flows and reporting needs.
  • Support new site implementations and major rollouts to ensure effective adoption and stabilization.
  • Lead testing phases for implementations to ensure systems meet user needs.
  • Manage multiple projects across all entities to coordinate implementation and delivery tasks.
  • Coordinate software version upgrades with stakeholders and vendors to ensure successful transitions.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in an IT Business Analyst or similar role.
  • 8+ years of experience with EHS, QA, and Learning and Development systems.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects involving various departments and external teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Deep understanding of data requirements and flows.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with cloud-based enterprise systems.
  • 10+ years of experience with EHS, QA, and Learning and Development systems in manufacturing or distribution.
  • 10+ years of configuration and support experience in relevant systems.
  • Experience driving integrations between SaaS-based enterprise systems and third-party stakeholders.
  • Experience with Master Data Management across enterprise systems.
  • Business process management experience.

Travel Requirements
  • Up to 20% travel may be required.

Education Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field is required.
