We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Community Resource Center Representative to join our team at Blue Shield of California. In this role, you will play a critical part in providing exceptional support to our members and the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Resolve member inquiries and issues related to eligibility, benefits, and health services
  • Compose clear and concise correspondence to answer member inquiries
  • Coordinate membership changes, including primary care physician updates
  • Analyze programs and connect members to appropriate resources and services
  • Conduct outreach calls and activities to inform members about health plan benefits and services
  • Verify member eligibility for outreach and care gap programs
  • Assist with organizing and hosting quality events and participating in Community Resource Center activities
Requirements
  • At least 3 years of professional experience
  • Broad knowledge of operational systems and practices
  • Bilingual in Spanish (demonstrated by successful completion of an oral language proficiency test)
  • Experience with Medi-Cal enrollment guidelines, specifically Medi-Cal renewal/redetermination process
  • Customer service background
  • Positive attitude, flexibility, professionalism, and dependability
