Job Summary

Walgreens is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service and supporting the pharmacy team in delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications, including counting, measuring, and weighing medications.
  • Process prescriptions, including verifying patient information and medication orders.
  • Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including patient information and medication inventory.
  • Assist with inventory management, including ordering and stocking medications and supplies.
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current with pharmacy practices and procedures.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Pharmacy Technician certification or registration required.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a cash register.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a retail or healthcare setting.
  • Knowledge of pharmacy software and systems.
  • PTCB certification or registration.
