  • Handle problems proactively, including anticipating and resolving issues as they arise.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Demonstrate initiative by anticipating guest needs and operational requirements.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Essential Functions

  • Maintain a warm and welcoming demeanor at all times.
  • Set up the bar in accordance with hotel standards to ensure prompt and efficient service.
  • Prepare and serve beverages and cocktails following the hotel's mixing and presentation guidelines.
  • Assist guests with all beverage needs in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Break down the bar post-event, ensuring proper storage of liquor, supplies, and equipment.
  • Adhere to all state liquor laws and hotel policies.
  • Familiarize yourself with hotel services and facilities.
  • Follow procedures for serving alcohol responsibly to prevent issues with intoxicated guests.
  • Address guest complaints and incidents effectively.
  • Be knowledgeable about fire safety procedures and equipment.
  • Keep the bar and service areas clean and organized during service.
  • Strive for overall guest satisfaction.
