Warehouse Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented General Warehouse Associate to join our team at Transtar Industries. As a key member of our distribution network, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and the timely delivery of products to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Load and unload trucks, move materials within the facility, and from the loading platform using hand trucks or other material handling equipment.
- Pick, pull, and fill orders accurately and efficiently.
- Print and pull invoices in a timely manner.
- Perform garbage and recycling oversight, and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Utilize a floor scrubber bi-weekly to maintain the warehouse floor.
- Empty return carts at the end of each day.
- Review and understand ledger information, and research missing parts using our materials requirement planning system (MRP).
- Restock push carts with product accurately on a daily basis.
- Off-load trucks as needed, and scan products as required.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, and implement changes to enhance work environment, safety, and efficiency.
- Put stock away as needed, and work with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Participate in cycle counts, and maintain accurate inventory levels.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- Prior work experience in a warehouse or distribution center is preferred.
- Experience using a materials requirement planning system (MRP) such as AS400.
- Computer skills, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check screening.
- Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers, and perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Ability to organize and prioritize job tasks, and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
