Bryan Electric Inc is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Electrical Service Specialist to become a vital member of our Service/Rollout team.
The primary role of the Service/Small Project Commercial Electrician involves the installation and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment.
Individuals in this role will address, repair, and uphold various electrical systems within client facilities during standard operational hours and will be part of a rotating on-call schedule. Additionally, they will undertake small-scale electrical installation projects.
Compensation will be determined based on qualifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Exhibit effective and professional communication skills, both written and verbal, ensuring accurate completion of daily documentation.
- Respond to client electrical requirements in a courteous and professional manner.
- Comprehend and adhere to all OSHA regulations and the company's electrical safety protocols.
- Utilize mobile tablet technology to accurately input necessary data into service management software for work order tracking, documentation, and invoicing.
- Prepare and submit required reports to management in a clear, legible, and professional format (e.g., Time Sheets, Employee Evaluations, Vehicle Inspections).
- Diagnose malfunctioning systems and determine the most effective repair strategies.
- Install systems in compliance with the National Electric Code (NEC) and relevant standards.
- Communicate all issues effectively to both clients and management.
- Request necessary materials, tools, equipment, and personnel to fulfill work orders.
- Manage resources efficiently to control project budgets.
- Oversee and maintain a service vehicle, tools, material inventory, and issued equipment.
- Guide, train, and develop any personnel assigned to you.
Required Skills
- Robust background in commercial and industrial electrical work.
- Proficient troubleshooting skills using testing equipment.
- Thorough understanding of the National Electric Code.
- Ability to safely operate and maintain a specialized electrical service vehicle (License required).
- Maintain a professional appearance and conduct at all times.
- Demonstrate necessary computer and keyboard skills.
- Organize and manage customer and company-specific information and documentation effectively.
- Maintain high productivity levels, meeting deadlines while ensuring accuracy.
- Exhibit effective and professional communication skills, both written and verbal, ensuring accurate completion of daily documentation.
- Be available for a rotating on-call schedule as needed.
- Physically capable of performing the duties associated with the position.
- Qualified candidates will be contacted promptly. This is a Full-Time Position.
