Cement Engineer Trainee

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Mechanical Engineer in Training to join our team at the Nazareth Cement plant in Pennsylvania. As a key member of our operations team, you will participate in a structured training program designed to provide an overview of the cement plant operations.
Key Responsibilities- Support operations in achieving production goals through partnering with experienced engineers and managers in different departments and locations.
- Participate in production and maintenance meetings to ensure smooth operations.
- Learn basic supervisory skills by working side-by-side with supervisors.
- Complete assigned project work in your area of expertise.
- Conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve issues.
- Participate in various training programs to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Contribute to our Continuous Improvement Program by suggesting changes in routines, personnel, equipment, and process improvement.
- A bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- A strong interest in process improvement and a willingness to learn.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with 24-hour operations.
- Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills.
- A multi-tasker who can tackle multiple projects at the same time.
