About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Mechanical Engineer in Training to join our team at the Nazareth Cement plant in Pennsylvania.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support operations in achieving production goals through partnering with experienced engineers and managers in different departments.
  • Participate in production and maintenance meetings to ensure smooth operations.
  • Learn basic supervisory skills by working side-by-side with supervisors.
  • Complete assigned project work in your area of expertise.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve issues.
  • Participate in various training programs to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to the Continuous Improvement Program by suggesting changes in routines, personnel, equipment, and process improvement.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Strong interest in process improvement and a highly organized and efficient mindset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with 24-hour operations.
  • Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills.
  • Ability to multitask and tackle multiple projects simultaneously.
