Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathology Assistant to support our licensed Speech-Language Pathologists in implementing therapy plans and conducting therapy sessions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in communication disorders and excellent interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the implementation of individualized therapy plans as directed by a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Conduct therapy sessions with individuals or small groups, focusing on areas such as speech, language, and communication skills.
  • Document client progress and maintain accurate and detailed records.
  • Prepare and organize therapy materials and equipment.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members to support therapy objectives.
  • Provide feedback and observations to the supervising SLP to help adjust treatment plans as needed.
Requirements
  • Associates or Bachelors degree in Communication Disorders, Speech-Language Pathology, or a related field.
  • Current SLPA licensure or eligibility for licensure.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Prior experience in a clinical or educational setting is preferred but not required.
