Job Summary

The Mechanical Maintenance Specialist will oversee the performance and maintenance of production machinery, ensuring optimal efficiency and productivity. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems and the ability to troubleshoot and repair complex equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Observe and listen to mechanical devices in operation to identify potential issues
  • Dismantle and repair equipment to remove defective parts
  • Service and maintain production machinery, including installation of special functional and structural parts
  • Operate equipment and tools to make and repair parts, using volt meters, computers, and tape measures
  • Record and report damaged, worn, or broken parts, and order replacement parts as needed
  • Identify and repair unexpected breakdowns of machines, and ensure safe operation of equipment
Requirements
  • 1 year of experience in electronic and mechanical troubleshooting on automated manufacturing equipment
  • Computer skills, including knowledge of Variable speed drives and software
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines
