About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Angiographic Assistant to join our team at the University of California, Irvine. As a key member of our interventional radiology team, you will play a critical role in supporting our physicians in performing angiographic and special procedures for adult and geriatric patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist procedural physicians in preparing patients and equipment for procedures
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure optimal patient care
  • Operate and perform diagnostic and C-arm procedures using advanced imaging systems
  • Ensure accurate capture of charges and maintain accurate records
  • Perform diagnostic imaging and other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • California CRT and Fluoroscopy certification required
  • A.R.R.T. certification preferred
  • Venipuncture license required
  • BLS and ACLS certification required
  • Basic dyshythmia course required
  • Hemodynamic monitoring class preferred
  • Completion of intra-aortic balloon pump class
  • Completion of yearly supplemental competency validation
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures, and forms
