Mental Health Physician Opportunity

We are currently seeking qualified candidates for the role of a Prescriber at our CARE Clinic. This position requires a licensed Physician in Oklahoma, preferably with a current DEA Number, or a licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with relevant training and experience in Psychiatry or psychiatric medication prescribing.
Bilingual Proficiency: Candidates who are bilingual in Spanish and English are highly preferred.
Compensation: The starting annual salary for this role is $130,000.00.

About Us: Counseling & Recovery Services of Oklahoma is committed to providing comprehensive mental health and substance abuse treatment, along with physical health care management and wellness services to over 5,000 individuals each year. Responsibilities:
- Evaluate clients referred to the medication clinic and assess the effectiveness of prescribed interventions.
- Prescribe medications in accordance with established clinical practices in Psychiatry, ensuring compliance with credentials.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for client services, adhering to standards of care.
- Promote a welcoming and recovery-focused environment for individuals seeking behavioral health services.
- Provide clear explanations of medication effects and potential side effects to clients and their guardians.
- Review clinical data, including laboratory reports, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Be available for on-call duties as required.
General Expectations:
Schedule client appointments based on agency needs while meeting productivity standards. Adhere to established protocols and regulatory guidelines.
Additional Duties: Perform other responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor.
Physical Requirements: This role requires the ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods, as well as the capability to use hands for repetitive tasks. Travel may be necessary, and employees should be prepared for varying weather conditions.
