General Overview
The role is designed to uphold the mission of the institution by delivering exceptional training in nail technology within a secure and hygienic setting. The educator will cultivate a constructive and engaging educational atmosphere by collaborating effectively with learners, colleagues, and administrative staff.
This position entails approximately 10-12 hours of work weekly, available during both daytime and evening hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver instructional content, track student progress, and provide guidance.
- Encourage readiness for employment.
- Promote a conducive learning and training environment.
- Establish and uphold a classroom management strategy in alignment with institutional policies.
- Demonstrate and encourage professionalism and strong work ethics.
- Engage with students in a setting that fosters open dialogue.
- Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.
Education and Experience
- Must hold a valid Nail Technician license.
- Must fulfill all criteria as a Nail Technician Instructor as per state licensing regulations.
- Preferred: At least two years of full-time experience in the nail technician field.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal abilities are essential.
- Current cosmetology license is advantageous.
- Prior experience in teaching is preferred.
