CNC Machining Instructor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CNC Machining Educator to join our team at Davis Technical College. As an Adjunct Faculty member, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction and training to students in the CNC Machining program.

• Instruct students in CNC Machining techniques and principles
• Evaluate student learning and maintain accurate records
• Deliver instruction using designated course curriculum and assessments
• Foster teamwork, communication, and respect among students and staff
• Promote job readiness and encourage professionalism and good work habits
• Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly training area
• Orient new students to classroom facilities and technology
• Advise students on course selection and graduation requirements
• Address and resolve issues affecting student success

• High school graduate with two years of related experience in the field
• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and instill industry-related concepts and skills
• Ability to deliver instruction in a variety of methods and produce instructional outcomes
• Proven ability to lead and act as an advocate for the College in all partnerships

• Prior teaching experience and teaching credentials
• Post-secondary training is preferred
