Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Chassis Seibi Technician to join our Body Production Engineering team at Toyota. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting new model Chassis Seibi project activities at various North America Motor Company locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Offline and/or online robot programming and testing
  • Confirmation of new model equipment meets set standards and performs as intended
  • Preparation and confirmation of new Body Chassis equipment at vendors
  • Support Body Chassis Seibi activity at North America Motor Company locations from installation to start of production
  • Effective communication with Machine Seibi Team Members, Project Leaders, Management, and outside groups regarding issues that require resolution
  • Promotion of teamwork and on-the-job training with hands-on tasks
  • Support Chassis Seibi projects and engage in travel to North America Motor Company locations and suppliers, as well as foreign travel
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent certification (GED)
  • Current 1 year experience in Body Chassis Seibi
  • Experience with MS Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word & Outlook
  • Ability to travel up to 75% at times (including international travel)
  • Ability to work up to 50% overtime including weekends and holidays
  • Toyopuc & Omron PLC troubleshooting experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate technical degree (or higher), or 3 years equivalent experience
  • 1 year body weld maintenance experience
  • Degree in Industrial Maintenance related field
  • 1+ years of Toyota Production Engineering Seibi experience
  • 1+ years of Automotive experience
  • Experience in Arc Welding environment
