Job Title: Electrical Technician

Join SPECTRAFORCE, a leading staffing firm, as an Electrical Technician and be part of a dynamic team that delivers innovative solutions to top clients. As an Electrical Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting the procurement, design, and trialing of new or modified equipment for assembly shops manufacturing production.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Program PLC/SPLC systems using Toyopuc, AB, Omron, and Siemens software.
  • Develop and implement offline and online robot programming for Fanuc and Kawasaki robots.
  • Verify that new equipment meets set standards and performs as intended.
  • Collaborate with vendors and NAMCs to prepare and confirm new Assembly equipment.
  • Support Assembly Seibi activity at North American Manufacturing Companies from design to installation and start of production.
  • Develop equipment countermeasures during setup, trials, and SOP.
  • Engage in travel to U.S., Canada, Mexico, and international locations, including Japan, Canada, and Mexico, and work overtime, including weekends and holidays, as required.
Requirements:
  • Associate technical degree or equivalent experience.
  • Strong PLC programming experience with Toyopuc, AB, Omron, and Siemens.
  • Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% and work overtime when required.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Degree in Industrial Maintenance or related field.
  • Automotive Assembly experience.
  • Knowledge of safety scanner setup and programming.
  • Knowledge of vision systems setup and integration.
  • Knowledge of industrial controls networking, Ethernet IP, TCIP, FLnet, and ProfiNet.
  • Understanding of Assembly AVI.
  • PE Seibi experience.
  • Automotive experience.
  • Proficient with Microsoft products, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
  • Experience with mentoring and/or technical training.
